As a technical advisor of SecureG, Russ brings more than 40 years of cryptography expertise to the table.
Russ has made major contributions to multiple security protocols, such as Internet PKI using X.509 (PKIX). The IEEE has repeatedly recognized him for his contributions to security standards working groups. He co-authored multiple books, including “Implementing Email and Security Tokens: Current Standards, Tools, and Practices (John Wiley and Sons, 2008).” Russ earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Virginia Tech and his master’s degree in computer science from George Mason.
